Clinical Proof of Efficacy

Niacinamide + Zinc PCA: A 2021 review in the A 2018 clinical study tested a dermocosmetic with niacinamide, a vitamin B6 derivative, and zinc PCA in people with mild inflammatory acne. After six weeks of twice-daily use, inflammatory lesions (papules, pustules, excoriations) were reduced by about 60%, and with no impairment of skin barrier function and good tolerability. The combination was shown to be a safe, effective option for acne-prone skin (Andrade et al., 2018).

Tea Tree Oil: Clinically proven to match benzoyl peroxide in reducing acne lesions (Medical Journal of Australia, 1990), with far less irritation. A 2013 study in International Journal of Dermatology confirms its broad-spectrum antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory benefits for acne-prone skin.

Neem Oil: A 2022 Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology study found neem oil to significantly reduce inflammatory and non-inflammatory acne lesions.
